This is one of those purchases you hope you never have to use, but I've seen enough car wrecks that I wanted one for those instances when I need to help someone. I have helped people in two different wrecks where getting out of the seatbelt was extremely difficult. Fortunately, there was no need to rush (no immediate danger). But I want to be prepared. Several reviewers have complained about the size. It is plenty big and in emergency situations, you don't want anything too big to deal with - at least that is my experience.
