Dynamat 10007 Professional Heavy Duty Roller Review

Dynamat 10007 Professional Heavy Duty Roller Review
Good product but I used my fingers more to get into detail spaces. The roller was only handy on large open areas.
DynaMat Pro Roller is a must for install. Wore my roller out with over 36 sheets of DynaMat Extreme! Economy Roller is useless. Pro Roller is smooth and easy to use, and the handle doubles as a crevice and contour tool. Made a significant difference when I completely gutted and sound deadened my 2002 Ram Air T/A interior with 36 sheets of DynaMat and two rolls of DynaPad. Much quieter, barely discernible road & exhaust noise. New sound system kicks now with added insulation. Can actually use hands free Bluetooth without having to yell in microphone.

LifeHammer Orange Original Emergency Hammer Review

LifeHammer Orange Original Emergency Hammer Review
This item is exactly what I thought it would be.

It was purchased after reading about a woman that drowned in the floods in the south recently.

She was unable to get out of her car because the doors were underwater. If she

had this instrument, she could have broken out the window and cut off her seatbelt.

I hope I never have to use this!
I went to a senior driving class and was told since I live in Fl.we should all have this hammer for safety. There is a large amount of water here and in case we drive into it, it is the only tool that can break a window to get out of the car. Thanks for having this emergency hammer.

Sheepskin Seat Belt Shoulder Pad-Grey Review

Sheepskin Seat Belt Shoulder Pad-Grey Review
After having a pacemaker implanted, I knew I needed some sort of cushion for the shoulder harness portion on my car's seat belt which crosses the pacemaker incision area on my chest. I picked up the first one I came across at a local store. It helped. Then I did some online shopping to see what else was out there. This sheepskin seat belt shoulder pad looked pretty good, so I purchased it through Amazon. MUCH BETTER. The cushioning ability of the sheepskin was far superior to the "memory foam" type that I had previously purchased, and the color matches my car interior perfectly. I'm very satisfied with this product.
This shoulder strap pad is very, very soft and comfy. However, the sheepskin is really warm against your body and not that comfortable in the Arizona heat.

Highland 20045 Black Universal Pet Barrier Review

Highland 20045 Black Universal Pet Barrier Review
this is the best pet separator I've ever purchased. It keeps my K-9 partner (which I might add is a Smart German Shepard) separated from my kids, and keeps him from taking my kids food (LOL)...
I purchased this a little while back (December 2007) from Amazon for the back of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am happy to say that it is still in service today. You can go to PETCO, Petsmart, or many other pet supply stores and purchase a similar item for much, much more... However, if you are looking for a well built, durable, and effective way to keep your animal in the back of your vehicle, Look no further!

Duracell 813-0291-07 175 Watt DC to AC Pocket Power Source Inverter Review

Duracell 813-0291-07 175 Watt DC to AC Pocket Power Source Inverter Review
I bought this and a Dell official car adapter. I have a Dell Precision M4400 and it didn't work at all. It would start to power, then cycle off. I tried to power my Verizon MiFi and it didn't work either.

Another thing that sucks is that there is a power button. Once the car is started you then have to hit the power button. Why not just have a rocker switch and leave it on?

Would not buy again or recommend to anyone
I have only had this product for a short time. It charged my cell phone just fine.

The Original Club Steering Wheel Lock - Red Review

The Original Club Steering Wheel Lock - Red Review
I've only had this for 2 months now. haven't had trouble with the lock jamming or whatnot so far. works fine and extends/retracts smoothly. my pevious club did not have the auto lock and you could separate the two halves, which i preferred because you could use the hollow end as a lever around a tire iron in case you get a flat, or use both ends as weapons instead of one heavy cumbersome object. also you have to unlock it to shorten it if you accidentally lengthen it before placing it on the wheel. but i supose youd have to insert the key anyway with the old club everytime to lock it

i give it 5 stars because it is functioning normally and fulfils expectations. it's not going to stop a car thief who knows how to pick locks, but is an added visual deterrent. i don't know how effective it is. i have not found any statistics or retrospective analyses. almost none of my friends use a club and find it amusing. however my family has been using it as long as i can remember so now that i have my own car i decided to use one too
It's a long, thick hunk of hardened steel that attaches to your steering wheel. It simply provides a visual deterrent to a thief and encourages them to move on. If they REALLY want to take your car, they will. However, it works great for me. Don't be a grub, get the Club!!

Rubber Queen 70544 Carpeted 4 Piece Mat With Vinyl Heel Pad - Gray Review

Rubber Queen 70544 Carpeted 4 Piece Mat With Vinyl Heel Pad - Gray Review
Spend a little more money and get a better set of mats. The carpet is nothing fancy, and does not like to be cleaned up that well. There is no hole for factory anchor points for floor mats, so the drivers side is constantly creeping up under the pedals. The rear mats are very small.

But what do you want for what you are paying for them. If you have a old P.O.S car and dont car just want something in there, then these will work. If you want something of decent quality, move to another item.
Exactly what I was looking for, inexpensive mats that stay in place, don't move around as you're driving.

XO Vision DX370 Universal Car Alarm System with Two 4-Button Remotes Review

XO Vision DX370 Universal Car Alarm System with Two 4-Button Remotes Review
This was a basic system that provided the usual alarm features. Door locking (which was why it was bought), vibration sensor and intruder alarm. Installation was easy. Happy with the purchase as expectations were met.
I bought this alarm without a lot of expectations, but to my surprise it works very well for only being $30. The alarm was very simple to install (this was my first alarm install) after obtaining the wiring diagram for my car and deciding on where to place "the brain".

If you're looking for a basic alarm for your vehicle and don't want to spend a whole lot of money I highly recommend this alarm.

Garmin GPS Nuvi 1350t Accessory Bundle - Car Charger + Home Travel AC Charger + USB Data Cable + Free Stars Stripes Silicone Wristband Review
I purchased the accessory kit only because the Garmin Nuvi does not come with an AC charger and the price for this was really good. I figured it's not a bad idea to have back ups on the other accessories.
Accessory bundle arrived before the Garmin, so I was ready to start when it arrived. Everything works great! The silicone wristband was unnecessary -- gave it to a grandchild. Since the GArmin doesn't come with a USB cable, had to have one to download all the info to the Garmin.

Dynamat 10435 Xtreme Door Kit 4 Sheets Review

Dynamat 10435 Xtreme Door Kit 4 Sheets Review
I bought this product to do all 4 doors of my 2004 Double Cab Tundra. It took 2 boxes to do all 4 doors just as advertised. At the same time I installed new Polk Audio DB series speakers in the doors. Wow!! What a difference from the factory JBL speakers. I can crank it up and not hear any metal vibration in the door panels. I can also notice a difference in less road noise, especially at 45 mph and up. Another benefit seems to be that the truck interior stays cooler with the AC on.

I bought 1 box from Amazon and 1 box from another vendor, Amazon's price was 1/2 of what others charge.
Used on 95 maxima on doors and made a great difference. Used on rear deck and was amazed! Put new JBL GTO 638's in place of Bose system that came in car. The dynamat kit really helped out. I recommend for any part of your car.

The First Years Car Rear Sunshade Review

The First Years Car Rear Sunshade Review
I have a Toyota Prius which is a hatchback car. This shade just hangs down but you cannot secure it to anything on the bottom.(It has two tabs that are suppose to squeeze between the back seat and the back panel most hatch backs have a big gap there.) This is not a big deal until you open your windows and the shade starts flapping all over the place.

On the plus side it did cover the whole back window.
Provides great area of coverage. Entire rear window is blocked from sun & it really does filter sunlight well from my rear facing twin infants. I say "Almost Perfect" because it took a good 2 weeks to get the suction cups to adhere properly. However, once a good "suction" was made, the haven't budged. Snug fit, does the job.

Swiss+Tech UKCSB-1 Utili-Key 6-in-1 Key Ring Tool Review
Flat head and Phillips head screw driver for your random screwdriver needs or for loaning to a friend. Mini screwdriver for the glasses wearer, you can always be helpful in times when the glasses come apart and a Saw end for whatever your going to be sawing. something will come up for this end, but i recommend this for the gadget person who likes to be handy... I've purchased two of these Swiss type Keys already, one because i really beat on it to it's limit and lost the warranty to return it and another time as a gift. The bottle opener for parties when the bottle opener guy isn't around. Knife to open hard to open packages for the girl that needs help.
This little tool is great. The size makes very it convenient for me to keep the tool with me at all time. The knife is plenty sharp enough to handle basic tasks. The tool closes secure enough so that I'm not afraid of it coming loose. Overall, I'd say the tool is very well designed and well-built.

Axius 5040617 Braxton Universal Bucket Seat Cover - Set of 2 Review

Axius 5040617 Braxton Universal Bucket Seat Cover - Set of 2 Review
I own a 2003 Buick Rendezvous, with the big comfy cloth seats. These seat covers fit perfectly, and gives my car such a nicer

look with the two tone colors. I plan to purchase the cover for the back seat as well. My interior is light grey, therefore these covers are great and will keep my original seats nice and clean.

If you own an SUV with big seats that need covers, these are it!!!
Most of the quality car seat covers I found ranged in the $30 range. I was very happy to find these seats for my 2007 Yaris sedan. They fit perfectly and look very sporty (which is my style). They are so smooth that, literally, I wonder if I am sitting on oil. They are soft yet durable.

In Car 4-in-1 Mp3 Wireless Modulator/fm Transmitter for Sd Card, USB Pen (Flash) Drive and Mp3 Players. Black with Remote Control. Review

In Car 4-in-1 Mp3 Wireless Modulator/fm Transmitter for Sd Card, USB Pen (Flash) Drive and Mp3 Players. Black with Remote Control. Review
This item arrived in excellent condition. Plugs directly into the cigarette lighter socket and powers up immediately. Can't read the display from the drivers seat, but it's too far away anyway. If you need to view the whole process, you can always purchase a device extender that plugs into the outlet and gives you a couple of plugs to hook into.

I decided to go with an 8 gb flash drive which I loaded up with music. Plugged it into the transmitter, found a blank radio station and used the two buttons on the transmitter (located on the outer edge) to match the transmitter with the radio frequency. Once it is matched, I can go back and forth 3 spots with the switches to get the best sound.

The sound quality is as good as my system can put out. It does pick up static here and there, but anyone I've talked to that owns an FM transmitter mentioned that. It's the norm for this type of device.

You can go forward or back a song with another set of buttons. You can also use the remote, which works fine, to go to specific songs or jump ahead 100 or 200 songs. You hear a distinctive audible beap when you push the remote. Songs seem to be in the same order all the time and if you know the number of a specific song, you can punch that number on the remote and it will jump to it.

Using the flash drive, I've unplugged it, put it back in at a later time, and it started on the song that last played. You do need to unplug it when you are done driving, because the unit is always powered up.

I have to give it 5 stars because, it performs as described, it has a cheap price and works as good as the ones that sell for $40, and you can plug various devices into it.

I've only owned it for a month, so I can't report on the durability of the unit, but I am extremely pleased with it at this point.
Got the unit and was not impressed. Tried to use it and it would come up and read a USB stick and actually transmit and the sound was OK through the radio. Better sound than I expected. But after about 3 minutes, it would cease working and just flash like it was confused. I had to unplug it and plug it back in for it to initialize and work again. Then after another 3 minutes it would hang and just flash and never recover. So if you thing is getting a good 3 minutes out of a device, than it's great.....otherwise I'm going to try a different unit next time. Great idea if mine worked with a crap.

Case Logic BNW-24 Polyester CD/DVD Wallet 24 Capacity (Black) Review

Case Logic BNW-24 Polyester CD/DVD Wallet 24 Capacity (Black) Review
I own several Cage Logic camera cases and they never wear out, this CD case is no exception. Quality construction, 25 year warranty, easy-working zipper, there's nothing at all to hate about this case. I don't care that there is no place for a label, since I make my own CD labels. This fits the bill for my intentions, which is a small case to carry some CD's along with me in my car. It is a little larger in size than what I thought it would be, but that's OK, it still fits in my console. Also, the picture that is shown here shows a blue interior, it is black, not blue. I've seen this same case in local stores, the price here on Amazon is half what the stores charge for the same model case.
This CD case is well made, has 12 sleeves with a divider in each so you can store 24 CD's/DVD's, and is better value for money than other CD cases I have used in the past.

The major flaw that I found with this case is that it has no place to put a label. None of the sticky paper labels stick to the nylon case. Common uses of CD cases include storing your own burnt music/voice CD's, data CD's, music to carry in car, X-rays/MRI Cd's etc. Each one of us probably has multiple cases and so they need labels to differentiate. I have not figured out how to label these cases.

Another minor flaw is lack of carrying handle, despite the description on the web site explicitly stating the inclusion of one. At least mine did not have one.

Overall, it is good value for money.

Handstands Original Sticky Pad Review

Handstands Original Sticky Pad Review
I had high expectations. I was only left disappointed. The pad is flimsy and not well-constructed. It doesn't lay flat on the dashboard. The corners curl up just like other reviewers have said. I do not recommend this. Spend a little extra to get something of better quality.
Just what we needed to keep our phones/ipods from falling all over the place. It was a little tricky to install because we put ours in a small cubby/opening in the dash of our truck, that was to be expected though. Great product!

Sunshine Kids Cool Shade For Car Window, Black Review

Sunshine Kids Cool Shade For Car Window, Black Review
Living in Atlanta and having a 10 month old in the back seat, I needed a sunshade for the window. I first tried one of those suction cup sunshades, but it failed in 10 min's. Then I found this product and I figured I give it a shot. This product is good not great. To install you simply unroll the film and stick it to the window, keeping the SunSineKids logo side facing the window. You need "TWO" people to apply this shade to the window. I tried to do it alone and failed miserably, it kept sticking to itself. Once applied, simply push out all the air bubbles, I tried to use a credit card to remove the air bubbles but it did not work, I ended up using my hand. The only reason I say this product is good and not great, is because it leaves a few air bubbles but other then that, its a nice product.
I have bought countless window car shades and either they fall or just don't work the way I want them. These are great because they stick very well to the window and just do the trick. Re-rolling them back to store them is a little tricky but not a big deal.

Solar Safari Cool Hat Review

Solar Safari Cool Hat Review
I see I'm in the minority. I ordered the hat as a father's day gift but it seemed such a good idea that I couldn't resist trying it out with the idea of getting one each for myself and my wife. When I tried it out I was so disappointed. The tiny little fan blew such a small spot on my face that I couldn't tell that it really cooled at all. The sensation was, however, very annoying. It wasn't at all like being in front of a fan, more like someone blowing through a straw on your face. So now I have to go through the ordeal of returning it. And btw there is a 20% restocking fee.
This product was great, it was a gift for my husband who works in construction. He ended up putting a battery in the hat because the solar panel wouldn't work unless it was in direct sun light. but over all he very happy about this product and I would recommend it to anyone else thinking about buying it. It's also very light weight too. and it really works!!

Music Power 0900-72 Encore Dual Port USB AC Charger with Rechargeable Extended Battery Review
Charged my smart phone twice off the battery. Just be careful to unplug whatever you're charging once the battery is full because I'm pretty sure your device keeps running off the rechargeable battery until the battery is dead or you unplug your device. Overall though, for such a cheap (in price), I was EXTREMELY pleased with the performance and feel of the product.
Since my iPhone got a virus and stopped being recognized by computers, this has been the only way I have been able to re-charge my phone. Battery lasts long enough, has 2 ports for charging my Bluetooth as well, and the battery indicator helps with knowing when the battery is getting low.

Inland Pro CD Travel 40 Case Review
I bought two of these CD cases and I'm very pleased! Very quick delivery, and when I opened the package, I really wasn't expecting much for such a bargain basement price...but I was very pleasantly surprised! Items are well constructed, a kind of "leatherette" feel to the outside, and the inside cd pockets are made of clear plastic on the front with a white sort of "fibery fabric" backing. They work very well for storing discs, and I'll probably buy a few more just like these!
I order this to have for my car to keep track of all my kids DVDs. It works well. Easy for the kids to use. The strap that I guess you are supposed to use to carry it, was frayed when I received it but it was no big hinderence to the use of it. It serves the purpose I bought it for.

PAC SWIJACK Steering Wheel Remote Interface Review
hi

I know its very good but the problem i order the wrong one for my PYLE PLDN70U

and i didnt install it
First, their site gave me the wrong directions. Took awhile to find the right ones. This thing once installed has never worked right. Sometimes it works fine, then randomly stops working all together. Mute button only works when I hold it down and it cycles on and off... I have to release it and hope it stops on mute. Volume works for about 4 notches, then won't go back down. Also, I need to push the buttons really hard to make this thing respond. Before it was just a light touch. This thing is irritating and frustrating. Go with the Axxess ASWC, same price, doesn't need to go though a complicated program process, and actually works!

Caselogic CDE-48 48 Capacity Heavy Duty CD Wallet (Black) Review

Caselogic CDE-48 48 Capacity Heavy Duty CD Wallet (Black) Review
I purchased this case with the intention of using it in a work truck where it is going to inevitably be banged around, dropped, have things placed on it, and experience extremes of temperature. It has held up remarkably well and provided a visually appealing case for CD's that stands up to punishment. While this isn't a "hard" case made of impermeable plastic it is still sturdy with pockets deep enough to hold both the discs and the booklets without warping.

The case retains its shape well, even when full, and even when dropped or otherwise jolted around the inside of a truck. If I have any complaint about this case it is the cover that while stylish does show fingerprints and markings very easily which means that it has to be wiped clean regularly. While it won't hold up to a rainstorm you aren't usually going to be running around in a downpour with your case, and it will withstand a spill from a beverage.

It is also slim enough to fit in your center console without taking up too much space or fit between your seat and the console if that is what you require of it to have easy access.
Don't understand why anyone would have issues with this case. It is sturdy but not so sturdy it would put an eye out or puncture someone. The sleeves are smooth to not scratch the surface of your dics but still tough to remain in tact. In my opinion, if you need to store more than a few but not hundreds, this is the perfect case! Don't hesistate in purchasing!

PAC TR7 Universal. Trigger Module Review

PAC TR7 Universal. Trigger Module Review
I recently purchased a new Alpine in-dash receiver with DVD player. I have no intention of watching a DVD while driving, but the difficulty of hooking up the two brake interconnects in my car had me looking for an alternative.

Enter the PAC TR7. Very simple hook-up, works perfectly, and eliminates the wierd conniptions Alpine requires to get the DVD player to work even with the brakes connected. Well worth the cost and will buy another in the future for any installation that requires brake interconnects.
I Just used this as a very mundane "latching" relay to make it possible to use a momentary push button for a headlight dimmer. the pac-7 can do much more...but it worked pefectly, and added the bonus, since I powered it with my headlight switch, of always returning to the "low beam" setting when the lights were switched off. I would recommend this for the use I used it for!

Basix Magic Jumbo Sunshade (Styles May Vary) Review

Basix Magic Jumbo Sunshade (Styles May Vary) Review
These help me ALOT since I have no a/c in my car. The only thing is that I'm not sure if I should've gotten these sun shades or the sunshade that is one piece and more *reflective to the sun.

When I get in my car (after I remove the sun shades) I still feel it's pretty hot inside. I mean, I know it's not going to obviously REMOVE hot air from my car, but it doesn't feel too different from before I had these sun shades in my car.

Also, I don't like to fold these up because when you open them up agian, they seem to pop open almost...violently. =/

They shadow out the light from your car, but these particular sun shades I think just do that. They are too thin and made with a translucent material to really screen out the heat-therefore the heat penetrates EASILY threw the shades.
I have a Toyota Tacoma. This was too big for the window. The packaging it comes in does list the vehicles it is sized for. I wish this information was included in the Amazon description.

Of course, I could have taken the dimensions listed and gone out to measure it.

Duracell 813-0281-07 100 Watt DC to AC Pocket Power Inverter Review

Duracell 813-0281-07 100 Watt DC to AC Pocket Power Inverter Review
Pros:

- Compact

- Lightweight

- USB port

- Auto powers off

Cons:

- Noisy, annoying fan

- Did I mention the fan was loud and annoying?

An almost great inverter. I purchased this to power a Macbook Pro in my vehicle. Prior reviewers said it was quiet which is a priority for me. This is any thing but quiet. We use it in a 2006 Mazda minivan which isn't particularly quiet. At highway speed the noise from the cooling fan on the unit out does the wind and tire noise of the car. To my ear it is particularly whining and annoying which leads me to unplug it if at all possible.

On the upside it is lightweight and very compact. You could easily take it with you with your carryon bag on airlines. It also has an electronic switch which "turns off" when ever the car is turned off which means that it doesn't automatically power on when you turn the car on again. For me this is a plus. The USB power port work fine for my ipod and for our GPS unit which had a faulty cord for while. If the fan weren't such a liability it would be the perfect inverter.
I recently purchased this product to use with my laptop on long flights. I have used this product on 3 flights now and it does provide enough power output for both my laptop and iPhone (charging both devices at the same time).

Product size is great. It is about as compact as can be made.

I give the product a 4 star rating, rather than a 5 star, because storing the product is somewhat cumbersome in your briefcase. No efforts were put into the design to wrap/store cord when not in use. This is rather irritating if you are constantly storing it while boarding/leaving a plane. In all other aspects it is a 5 star product.

Since I just received the product, I cannot comment on its durability at this time, but the case seems very sturdy and well constructed.

Wagan IN9788 Ortho Wedge Cushion Review

Wagan IN9788 Ortho Wedge Cushion Review
not what i expected too small for car seat,or anything else not worth the money spent.
I've found these tailbone pads to be a real help - especially as I have an uncomfortable car seat and a long commute. This one is well made, so far as using it daily for about a month and a half goes. The one thing I wanted to say is that the pad is not as thick as some others and the foam is not a high density foam, so it squishes pretty much. I find this acceptable on my office chair, but not so good in my car.

Caselogic ACC-15 Black Center Console Organizer Review

Caselogic ACC-15 Black Center Console Organizer Review
This item works perfectly. I love the fact that you can adjust the departments to get more space where needed. The dividers are not flimsy, they are made of hard plastic that snaps in to place when you move them. They do not come totally out either, which keeps you from losing them, they just fold back to the corners of the organizer. The bottom of the case has a rubber type strip on the front and back, to help stop it from sliding around. There is also a fold out flap that you can shove between your seat back and bottom to secure it in a seat. I only gave it 4 stars because I didn't like that it came all folded up in such a small box, But once you unfold it, set up all the dividers and leave that way for a few hours it gets pretty solid.
This thing is the perfect organizer for me. It fits the little things I like to keep close access to and prevents my water bottles from tipping, while keeping them withing reach. And the price is unbeatable.

Caselogic RBNW-224 224 Capacity Rip & Burn Nylon Wallet (Black) Review

Caselogic RBNW-224 224 Capacity Rip & Burn Nylon Wallet (Black) Review
I have a couple of those Sony 400 disc CD players but no room for storing 600+ jewel boxes in an attractive manner. So I decided to get 4 of these and put the CD inserts from the jewel cases into these cases - up to 200 in each case - only the very largest cd booklets will not fit in the sleeves. I used the print function in ITunes to print the song lists and slid them in to each sleeve along with the liner notes from the jewel boxes. Now all of the CDs are in the players and I can see all the liner notes and know immediately what albums are in what slots A1-400 and B1-400 and tell what track numbers go with which songs as well. I also made a quick excel spreadsheet just listing albums and their corresponding slot numbers in case I don't want to flip through the cases looking for the slot # for a particular album. The sleeves seem very sturdy and the cases seem to be of high enough quality that they will last a long time. It is much easier to store 4 cases on a shelf than hundreds of jewel boxes.
this cd dvd wallet appears sturdy and pretty durable. the discription says it is black, but mine is black and dark green.the only criticisms i have is the fact that you cannot remove the pages or rearrange the order. i also worry about the durability of the plastic that the cds go into.i like the pull out visor that holds 8 cds, nice. thanks amazon!
