I recently purchased a new Alpine in-dash receiver with DVD player. I have no intention of watching a DVD while driving, but the difficulty of hooking up the two brake interconnects in my car had me looking for an alternative.
Enter the PAC TR7. Very simple hook-up, works perfectly, and eliminates the wierd conniptions Alpine requires to get the DVD player to work even with the brakes connected. Well worth the cost and will buy another in the future for any installation that requires brake interconnects.
I Just used this as a very mundane "latching" relay to make it possible to use a momentary push button for a headlight dimmer. the pac-7 can do much more...but it worked pefectly, and added the bonus, since I powered it with my headlight switch, of always returning to the "low beam" setting when the lights were switched off. I would recommend this for the use I used it for!
