I always thought these things were so goofy looking and silly. Until I needed one! We needed one when our son outgrew his infant carrier and no longer had that convenient little sun canopy. We keep one in each car and they really are lifesavers when the sun is going down and it hits your baby/kid right in the face. Having these is especially helpful in a smaller car &/or a car without tinted windows.
