I got this for my wife's new truck. I hard wired it into the electric supply for the compass in the rearview mirror and attached to the visor. The back up lights were impossible to reach, so I connected the camera to the license plate lights. It all works, however your head moving around causes some break up of the picture, and it is still hard to really tell precisely how far you are from anything. It will, however, be useful for backing into a trailer hitch. That would be the only real reason to get one, as well as seeing if there is a tricycle behind you. Not so useful for parking.
