This is a cool little radio.I have had the oppertunity to try it on my base rig and as my mobile and it works just fine.The rubber duck antenna is good for about a mile or so but I use a cobra HG A 1500 mag mount on my car a 98 Rav4. Out on the Hwy I get 3-5 miles in all directions so with that in mind I give this radio 5 out of 5 stars.Get more detail about Cobra HH 38 WX ST Handheld CB Radio.
